Free Hands-On Family Fun at Historic Mansker’s Station’s Heritage Day

April 1, 2019

Heritage Day at Historic Mansker’s Station in Goodlettsville is a FREE favorite family-friendly day that encourages guests to “see it, touch it, and feel it.” Historic Mansker’s Station is a recreated 1779-era fort, based on a real fortification built by frontiersman Kasper Mansker, that is staffed with interpreters who aim to bring the past to life. Families are encouraged to become interactive with activities from the past during Heritage Day!

Artisans also demonstrate their crafts so visitors can see first-hand the workmanship that goes into each piece.

Fun and games were part of frontier life, too, which is a favorite way for kids to connect with life before technology!

And it’s truly a “see it, touch it, feel it” experience with areas to pet animals and to see live demonstrations from costumed interpreters!

Heritage Day for 2019 is Saturday, April 13, from 9am-3pm at Historic Mansker’s Station in Goodlettsville. Admission is FREE!
