Hendersonville Freedom Fest -
Drakes Creek Park

From 5:00pm-10:00pm, the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce presents the Freedom Fest each year to support the Chamber Foundation.

The event includes an auction, great live music, food vendors, face painting, Kids Zone*, friendly competition, and, of course, fireworks! *There is an admission fee to enter the Kids Zone.

 

Tuesday, July 4

2017 Gallatin July 4th Celebration & Fireworks -
Triple Creek Park

The Sumner County Food Bank and the City of Gallatin are bringing the city’s 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Display back to Triple Creek Park this year. The festivites run from 4:00pm-9:30pm.

Attractions:

  • 988 shells
  • Music by The Parks and Gene McDonald
  • Foam mountain
  • 18 food vendors (list of vendors available soon)
  • Face painting
  • Carnival games for kids

When parking spots are no longer available in the park, Gallatin Police will close the entry of the park and divert traffic to the Civic Center and Municipal Park. Please watch the videos below for more information. Handicapped parking available with golf cart assistance.
No grills / grilling allowed or alcohol.
 

Goodlettsville Independence Day Celebration -
Moss-Wright Park

The City of Goodlettsville celebrates Independence Day on the 4th of July in Moss-Wright Park with patriotic music, food vendors, children’s games, an activity zone, and ends with a giant fireworks display! The fun begins at 4:00pm and concludes after the fireworks display, which is scheduled to begin at 9:00pm.

Activities for the 2017 event include:

  • Fireman’s Foam: Goodlettsville Fire Department offers this annual crowd favorite! Wear a swimsuit or bring a change of clothes, and maybe even goggles!
  • Gaga Pit: Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation invites you to play in the gaga pit. Free!
  • Freeman Hollow Amusements: Pony rides for a fee
  • Fabulous Face Painting by Michelle: Face painting and glitter tattoos, $5-$10
  • Activity Zone: Climbing wall, Euro bungee, giant slide, obstacle course, speed pitch, football toss, kick & score, basketball hoop – $10 per person

The event concludes with a giant fireworks display set to music that is scheduled to begin at 9pm.
 

Wednesday, July 5

Portland 4th of July Celebration -
The Bridge at Highland

Hosted by Signature Healthcare of Portland

Join the fun at the Bridge at Highland at 6:30pm to celebrate the 4th of July! Event will include:

  • Free food – hotdog, chips, & soft drink (1 MEAL PER GUEST)
  • Cake walk raffle
  • Silent auction items
  • Music and kids games
  • Firework show held at dark (30 minute show) – to be held on Highland Academy front lawn (bring your lawn chairs and blankets!)

 

Thursday, July 6-Sunday, July 9

White House TN Americana Celebration -

There will be non-stop fun with free inflatables for the kids and Food Truck Row for all! Nightly, the Carnival will be going on July 6-9th. The carnival will open at 1:00 pm on Saturday and live music begins at 5:00 pm.

Food Truck Row offering a wide variety of selections, so far – Bob’s Fish Fry, Don Miguel Juicery + Rustic Kitchen, Delaney’s Street EatsClays Kitchen The Dawg House, Mojo Cookie Dough Food Truck.

At 6:00 pm Sixwire will take the stage with a fantastic performance followed by the 80’s band Rubiks Groove that will have everyone on their feet singing and dancing. At 9:00 pm the sky will light up with the Brandon Webster EXIT REALTY Garden Gate Team Fireworks show and before the smoke clears Rubiks Groove will be back on stage performing until 10:00 pm.
